Scott Walker held on to his job yesterday,
The voters have now had the ultimate say.
The Democrats are morose;
The final results weren’t close
Much money was poured into last night’s election.
The unions were funding a bold insurrection.
But the effort has come down to naught;
Union members are really distraught.
Conservatives surely are highly elated
For this is a victory that they’ve long awaited.
Progressives are feeling ground down:
