It’s no secret that the main obstacle to bringing an end to the murderous
Assad regime in Syria is Russia’s continued support, which extends to supplying
Assad with arms to be used against Syrian civilians. Russia is coming under increased
international pressure to join in the effort to remove Assad, but so far, they
haven’t budged. Meanwhile, Assad likens
his role to that of a surgeon who must shed blood in order the save a
patient.

Is more than a little bit odd
He claims that the blood he is shedding
Is something the victims are spreading.
He’s likened his role to a surgeon
But the violence continues to burgeon
He’s killing men, women and kids
If they don’t do whatever he bids
All the world thinks that he should just go
But the Russians have been saying No.
Why does Putin act like a friend,
Why not bring this regime to an end?
But Assad will maintain his attack
While Putin says I’ve got your back.

Obama is murdering much more, and Obama, NOT "All the world" demands "regime change" in Syria. Of course, Obama is supported by such other great humanitarians as Gulf royals (murdering their own protesters by the way) and NATO states waging colonial wars with mass-murder.
By the way, Obama and his allies are also arm, found and train people who are carbombing Syrian cities, murdering, torturing and kidnapping Syrians from "wrong" sect and even Lebanese. But sure, such things are OK when done by Obama allies, just like Al-Qaida was OK when it waged terror against USA foes in 80th, Reagan even said they were alike "founding fathers".
In short, before posturing all righteous against Assad and Russia, stop mass-murdering people all over the world, and to support others doing it (like Israel, for ex.)
