Darrell Issa (R-CA), Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, has
embraced the crazy conspiracy theory that the controversial Fast and Furious
operation, in which federal ATF agents allowed guns to be shipped to Mexican
cartels and then lost track of them, was designed to ultimately promote
stronger gun control legislation.
